Role Overview
- They are seeking a skilled Key Account Manager to join their team in Belgium.
- In this pivotal role, you’ll be instrumental in accelerating market access, executing area strategies, and fostering new customer relationships.
Responsibilities
As a Key Account Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of their growth trajectory, responsible for nurturing relationships and driving business expansion in Wallonia, Brussels, and Luxembourg.
- Drive the growth of their core lab businesses and cater to the evolving needs of current customers.
- Identify and seize new business opportunities at the account level, ensuring consistent expansion.
- Engage in consultative selling, presenting the company’s product portfolio to existing and potential customers.
- Collaborate with Laboratory Specialists & Field Engineers, ensuring seamless coordination.
- Oversee CRM management, facilitate internal division tasks, and forecast accurately.
- Promote knowledge-sharing and best practices among peers, contributing to individual and group success.
- Own accountability for delivering business results in alignment with the business plan.
Qualifications & Skills
- A degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience in the scientific/healthcare sector (e.g., biology, diagnostics, medical technologies).
- Proven track record in account management, sales, or product support, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar organizational environment (preferably diagnostics).
- Customer-centric approach with an unwavering commitment to customer excellence.
- Results-oriented mindset, resilient, and adaptable to changing circumstances.
- Proficiency in identifying and seizing business opportunities, displaying persistence in the face of challenges.
- Strong background in tender management and success in core lab operations.
- Convincing communicator with effective negotiation skills, particularly with demanding customers.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and initiative-driven.
- Fluent in French, with a high level of English language proficiency; basic Dutch skills are preferred.
- Willingness to travel and accommodate flexible work arrangements.
